I am finishing the binding on a Drunkard's Path quilt that I started at 13! I became so frustrated by it, I stuffed it in the closet and ignored it/forgot about it for almost 40 years. It's not the best quilt in the world, but I am glad to see it almost done.

ReplyDeleteHi! I am working on the pink/purple top for my little girl's bed. There's a quilt on the Big Lady I started quilting today and 4 more behind that one! Oh, and I just printed out a pixelated chart to make a horse quilt and have my fabrics all picked out for that one!!! Thanks for the give aways!

ReplyDeleteI'm making pillowcases for ConKerr Cancer and pulling fabric for a Christmas quilt for my niece. Also making some pot holders and mug rugs for gifts AND I have to finish a Christmas stocking for my niece's soon to be hubby. I've got waaaay to much to do this week. :)

And then I'm designing a quilt for a friend of a friend. Hopefully by the end of the day I'll be making a dishmat for my kitchen because my dishwasher is on the fritz..Uggg! I am so frustrated by the numbering thing! I have tried multiple times to fix it and (obviously) haven't had luck yet. So I just do it the old-fashioned way...by counting!

ReplyDeleteI took apart a 50 year old quilt that belonged to my husband from his grandmother. He told me to throw it away. I'm keeping the good blocks and making small wall hangings for his brothers and sisters for Christmas. Each one will have a small piece of their grandmothers handiwork.
