Welcome to my stop on Benartex's Judy's Bloom hop! I'm the first to admit that I don't typically gravitate toward soft floral prints, but when I saw the Judy's Bloom collection by Eleanor Burns for Benartex, I knew exactly what I'd use them for. I really love the watercolor effect of these fabrics.
I have long admired the look of watercolor-style quilts, and I thought these fabrics would work really well in that blended type of effect.
The result? My latest pattern, the Off the Rails Runner.
(Keep reading for details about the FQ bundle giveaway of Judy's Bloom, plus a discount code for the pattern. Mother's Day is around the corner...hint hint)

ReplyDeleteYour table runner is so pretty in those sweet fabrics...love it!
ReplyDeleteYour table runner is gorgeous! Thank you for the chance to win. I love the Rose.
ReplyDeleteLove your tablerunner! Love the pinks the best.
ReplyDeleteI love the green - part of all our botanicals! The rosy pink is awesome as well!!
ReplyDeleteI really like blues but green is great too. Is there a bad color? Jmikebalou (at) aol (dot) com
ReplyDeleteAll the color ways are beautiful, but I am partial to the blue.
ReplyDeleteI saw your runner on Benartex's IG feed and loved the watercolor effect you mentioned. I am drawn to the lavenders but I love them all.
ReplyDeleteI like all the colors, but if I had to put them in order, it would be: blue, green, white, rose, then lavender.
ReplyDeleteIt is hard to pick just one color way, but I guess the pink colorway is my favorite. I have three granddaughters that would love this as well. One would like the pink, one the lavender, and one the blue. I may just have to pick up some of the fabric to make something for each of them. Your table runner is so uplifting...it really says Spring is here and it is time to brighten up with color.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for showing the pattern in 2 different types of fabric. The solids are so pretty but the florals sing! It really helps me to imagine the pattern’s potential with choices.
ReplyDeleteCute pattern Lisa!! Love the lavenders! Really like the shades and coloring!! Diane Oakes
